Loss Control and Safety will:
- assist in loss documentation
and record keeping.
- provide frequent site
visits to assure program compliance.
- train supervisor(s) and
employees in how to effectively control losses.
- provide written and video
resources to assist in loss prevention.
- review loss and frequency
data to assess loss trends.
- provide job analysis for
high risk employees.
- assist in accident and
hazard investigations.
Claims Service will:
- notify Company before
we pay any claim.
- contact the employee within
48 hours on all lost time injuries.
- represent Company at all
administrative hearings. This service is included at no additional charge.
- review every medical bill to assure it is lowered to comply with the
state's fee schedule.
- conduct a quarterly review
with Company of the status of all lost time injuries.
- provide a 24-hour 1-800
number to Company and employees for responding to questions or claims
reporting.
- comply with Company's claims handling requirements.
Customer Service will:
- always return phone calls
on the day you or your employee calls us.
- distribute publications
to assist Company in keeping abreast of changes in the industry and
to assist Company with service issues.
- assist Company in the
operation of the workers’ compensation program.
- give Company a minimum
of two days advance notice of requirement for a deposit to pay claims.
- provide assistance to Company to keep Company's work to a minimum.
- facilitate the flow of
information.
